The context
Arthur prospects in the energy retrofit sector, a market he didn't really know at first. He started on the phone, cold calling, until a simple realization: a lot of prospects never picked up, but they accepted his LinkedIn connection requests. So he opened a LinkedIn channel alongside his calls and plugged MimikFlow into it.
His goal wasn't to sell a product, he didn't have one yet. He wanted to book 20 to 30 minute calls to understand his target's day-to-day and pain points, positioning himself as someone doing field research rather than a salesperson. The real challenge: his target was twofold and hard to translate into keywords, heat-pump installers on one side, people who coordinate building projects on the other (project owners, principals), with vague job titles.
“When I typed 'energy retrofit' by hand, LinkedIn returned everything. With MimikFlow I just described who I was looking for, and it went and found profiles I'd never have found on my own.”

He used to run Waalaxy
With Waalaxy
Keyword search. Simple on a niche he knew well, but it runs dry fast: after a few pages you hit inactive or off-target profiles, and quality drops.
With MimikFlow
He describes his intent and his goal, the tool finds the right profiles on its own, even the ones without a clear job title, by reading the company, the activity and the posts. No more fishing people out of the search bar one by one.
At a comparable price, MimikFlow gives him the smart targeting Waalaxy doesn't have.
His setup
Arthur filled in his target (owners of small French energy-retrofit companies), his offer (no product, just a discovery call) and his tone: simple, direct, human, not too corporate, short sentences always ending on a precise slot proposal. He turned on 8 follow-ups and ran the Setter in validation mode, to keep an eye on every message before it went out, then tweaked a few settings to make the tone a little less blunt.
The outcome
In under two weeks: 5 to 6 goals reached and 3 to 4 calls booked, in an unfamiliar niche, with people he would never have reached out to on his own. Generally well-qualified profiles. His recommendation is above all about the prospect research, which he sees as the real edge over a classic tool.
