Folk and your LinkedIn prospecting, finally connected

MimikFlow prospects on LinkedIn. Folk receives the prospects who reply or book a meeting, with a note, and MimikFlow never contacts the people in your customer groups.

Your CRM stays the source of truth, MimikFlow drops the hot prospects into it and respects your exclusions.

Four switches, no form

Once your CRM is connected, the screen fits in four rows. Each one works without any setup. The details (lists, stages, fields) stay folded in the advanced settings, for the day you need them.

01 · Exclude

Never message your customers and open deals

MimikFlow reads your CRM and takes out of prospecting the people who are already customers or linked to an open deal. You choose whether to exclude the person only or their whole company.

  • A preview before you switch it on: how many contacts and companies will be excluded, and which current prospects will stop receiving messages
  • The list refreshes every 3 hours
  • If your CRM stops answering, the last known list stays in force

In Folk

People in the groups whose name means customers, ticked in advance. You can tick other groups or the values of a status or tags field.

By default · Customers and open or won deals, ticked in advance

02 · Send

Find your hot prospects in your CRM, without retyping them

When a prospect replies, books a meeting or reaches your goal, MimikFlow creates or completes the contact and their company, creates or moves a deal forward, and adds a factual note: the latest messages, the reason behind their rating and the link to their MimikFlow record.

  • A prospect already in your CRM is matched, never duplicated
  • Only empty fields are filled, unless you pick "always update" field by field
  • When you switch it on, MimikFlow offers to also send the prospects already in conversation

In Folk

A person with their LinkedIn link, their company, a deal in the chosen group and a note on the person.

By default · Reply, meeting and goal reached; acceptance as an option

03 · Listen

Stop the messages when the deal plays out in your CRM

A won deal in your CRM marks the prospect "goal reached" and stops every automatic message. A lost deal takes them out of the journey. You can also pick an action stage by stage.

  • Per stage: do nothing, stop messages, mark the goal reached or hand the conversation to you
  • A reopened deal does not restart anything automatically
  • Your CRM owns the stage and the outcome, MimikFlow never changes them on its own

In Folk

The status of the deals in your groups: a status named as won or lost ("Won", "Gagné", "Lost", "Perdu"...) is recognized.

By default · Won: goal reached. Lost: out of the journey

04 · Import

Turn your CRM lists into LinkedIn prospects

You pick lists in your CRM and a campaign: their contacts become prospects, invited and contacted at your LinkedIn account's normal pace. The ones you add to these lists later come in on their own.

  • A preview before you start: how many come in, how many you already have, how many are left out
  • Your customers and your never-contact list are never imported
  • A contact without a LinkedIn link is found with their name and company, otherwise they are not contacted

In Folk

Your Folk groups.

By default · Off: you pick the lists and the campaign

Only the moments that matter go across

This is not a full copy of one tool inside the other. Each keeps what it does best: your CRM owns the deal's stage and outcome, MimikFlow owns the LinkedIn journey and the conversation.

What goes into your CRM

  • The prospect who replies, books a meeting or reaches your goal
  • Their company, title, email and phone when known
  • A deal in the pipeline and stage you chose
  • A factual note with the latest messages and the link to their record

What never goes there

  • Sent invitations: they would drown your CRM
  • A value typed by a human, unless you ask for it to be updated
  • A duplicate of a contact already there
  • A prospect who is part of your exclusions

Connect Folk with an API key

Folk connects with a key you create yourself. Two minutes, and you can revoke it from Folk at any time.

  1. 01

    Create a key in Folk

In Folk, open Settings > API and create an API key. Copy it.

  2. 02

    Paste it into MimikFlow

In Settings > CRM, on the Folk row, paste the key. It is checked right away and never shown in full again.

  3. 03

    Switch on what you want

You turn on Exclude, Send, Listen or Import. Each switch works without any setup.

Safe by default

From the Pro plan, and one CRM per client on Agency

The CRM connection is included from the Pro plan, free trial included. On Agency, each LinkedIn account, so each client, can have its own CRM, and your agency's CRM applies to every account. A client's exclusions never filter another client's prospects.

An outage never empties your exclusions

If your CRM stops answering, the last known list keeps protecting your customers until the connection comes back.

A readable log

"Recent activity" tells each action in plain sentences: who went into your CRM, which won deal stopped the reminders, which error to fix.

A disconnection without surprises

By default, a frozen copy of your exclusions is kept, so your customers do not suddenly receive messages. Nothing is erased in your CRM.

Your AI assistant reads, it does not write

Connected through MCP, your assistant can read the connection status and recent activity to explain what happened. It never writes to your CRM.

Your CRM is not listed?

For Salesforce, Zoho, Notion, Airtable, Sellsy, Axonaut and the others, there is a simple path without a native connector.

Salesforce · Zoho · Notion · Airtable · Sellsy · Axonaut

  1. Import your exclusions as a CSV

Export your customers from your CRM and import the file in the "Never contact" card. You pick the columns, and a new import replaces the previous one. Available on every plan.

  2. Receive automatic alerts

The Agency plan's webhooks send an event at every key moment, including status changes and dropped prospects, with the phone number when known, tags, the link to the record and, as an option, the latest messages.

  3. Start from a ready-made recipe

n8n and Make templates to import from the Webhooks tab: a Salesforce lead on reply, a Notion row when a meeting is booked, a Google Sheets log of hot prospects.

Frequently asked questions

Why does Folk connect with a key and not in one click?

Folk offers a personal API key, created in Settings > API. You paste it once into MimikFlow; you can delete it in Folk whenever you want, which cuts access immediately.

How does MimikFlow know who my customers are in Folk?

Through your groups: a group whose name means customers ("Customers", "Clients") is ticked in advance. You can tick others, or pick the values of a status or tags field, and exclude the person only or their whole company.

How do won or lost deals work in Folk?

Deals live in your groups, with a status field. MimikFlow recognizes a status named as won or lost and reacts: goal reached and no more messages, or out of the journey. You can pick an action for each status.

What is in the note added to Folk?

Facts: the latest LinkedIn messages, the reason behind the prospect's rating and the link to their MimikFlow record. Nothing is made up or summarized in their place.

Do sent invitations end up in Folk?

No. Only the moments that matter go across: reply, meeting, goal reached, and invitation acceptance if you ticked it.
