LinkedIn scraping means automatically extracting profile data: name, role, company, location, recent posts. This information is essential for personalizing your messages and qualifying prospects before contacting them. Manual scraping at scale is unthinkable. Automation extracts and structures data from dozens of profiles per day, while respecting LinkedIn usage limits to avoid restrictions. MimikFlow uses Unipile as the official LinkedIn API proxy (no headless browser, no fake user agent), which means every profile view comes from your real session and counts against your daily profile-view budget (100 on free, 150 on Premium, 500 on Sales Navigator, 800 on Recruiter). Headless scrapers that bypass Unipile are the ones that get accounts banned in bulk.

Why automate LinkedIn scraping?

Personalize at scale

Without precise data on each prospect, personalizing messages is impossible. Automated scraping provides the elements needed for the AI to write relevant messages.

Qualify before contacting

By extracting profile data (role, company, tenure), you can filter irrelevant prospects before sending them a message.

Enrich your CRM

Scraped data feeds your prospect base with up-to-date information, directly from LinkedIn.

How to automate LinkedIn scraping with MimikFlow?

1

Profile identification

The AI identifies profiles to scrape via automatic search or your imported lists.

2

Data extraction

The scraper extracts key data: name, role, company, location, headline, recent activity.

3

Analysis and qualification

The AI analyzes data to score and qualify each profile against your target persona.

4

Pipeline feeding

Qualified profiles are injected into the prospecting pipeline with all data needed for personalization.

What are the benefits?

Always up-to-date data

LinkedIn profiles are updated by users themselves. Automated scraping gives you access to the most recent information.

Structured prospect base

Data is extracted and organized automatically. Each prospect has a complete file with all necessary information.

Personalization fueled by data

The more data you have on a prospect, the more relevant the message. Scraping provides the fuel for AI personalization.

What are the risks?

LinkedIn viewing limits

LinkedIn limits profile views per day (100-800 depending on account). Exceeding these limits triggers temporary restrictions.

Incomplete data

Some profiles are sparsely filled or private. The scraper can only extract information visible on the public or 1st-degree profile.

GDPR compliance

Scraped data is personal data. Ensure GDPR/CCPA compliance: legal basis, retention period, access and deletion rights.

Frequently asked questions

Is LinkedIn scraping legal?

Scraping public data is generally tolerated, but LinkedIn prohibits it in its ToS. MimikFlow accesses profiles via your own LinkedIn account, as if you were viewing them manually, which minimizes risk.

How many profiles can I scrape per day?

Depends on your LinkedIn account: 100 per day for free accounts, up to 800 with Recruiter. MimikFlow automatically adjusts volume to your plan.

What data is extracted?

Name, role, company, location, headline, summary, recent experience, and posts. This data feeds the AI for message personalization.

Does scraping slow down my LinkedIn account?

No. MimikFlow spaces out profile views with random delays to simulate normal usage. Your account functions as if you were viewing profiles manually.

Can I export scraped data?

Data stays in MimikFlow and directly feeds the prospecting pipeline. The goal isn't mass export but message personalization.

Is scraped data GDPR and CCPA compliant?

Yes, with caveats. MimikFlow acts as a data processor under GDPR Article 28 (the DPA is part of our Terms) and only processes data you have a legal basis to contact, typically legitimate interest for B2B outreach. Data is stored in Supabase (EU region), never resold, and every prospect record is deletable on request. CCPA notice is included in the English privacy page. You are still the data controller, so your privacy notice and contact policy must disclose automated prospecting to data subjects when relevant.

What happens to the scraped data if I cancel my subscription?

Leads, conversation history, and pending messages remain in your account for the duration of the trial grace period. After final cancellation, the data is retained for the minimum legal period then purged. You can manually delete any prospect record at any time from the leads table. We never share your scraped data with other users or train any shared model on it, each workspace is strictly user_id-scoped in the database with row-level security.
