Finding the right prospects on LinkedIn is the foundation of any B2B prospecting strategy. But scrolling profiles for hours, filtering results, and building lists is thankless, time-consuming work. Automated prospect search uses AI to identify decision-makers matching exactly your target persona. The AI analyzes roles, companies, industries, and even recent activity to only retain high-potential profiles. MimikFlow runs Google searches via the Serper API, feeds each public LinkedIn URL to a Haiku evaluator that checks role fit, industry, and target country, then drops prospects who do not match (including out-of-country profiles that used to slip through older tools). Manual search on LinkedIn is capped at around 1,000 results per query anyway, which is why combining Google with AI evaluation is the only way to scale past that ceiling.

Why automate LinkedIn prospect search?

Find prospects outside your network

Standard LinkedIn search is limited to your 2nd and 3rd degree network. The AI finds profiles inaccessible via standard LinkedIn search.

Build targeted lists in minutes

Instead of spending an hour building a list of 20 prospects, the AI finds 50-100 in minutes with precise targeting.

Automatically enrich profiles

The AI goes beyond name and role. It researches the company, revenue, industry challenges to qualify each prospect.

How to automate LinkedIn prospect search with MimikFlow?

1

Define target persona

You describe your ideal client: role, industry, location, company size, pain points.

2

Multi-source search

The AI launches searches to find matching profiles, even outside your network.

3

Automatic qualification

Each found profile is analyzed and scored based on relevance to your target persona.

4

Pipeline injection

Qualified profiles are automatically added to your prospecting pipeline to receive a connection request.

What are the benefits?

Prospects your competitors can't find

Thanks to AI, MimikFlow accesses profiles invisible to those only using LinkedIn search or Sales Navigator.

Granular targeting

Filter by exact role, industry, location, company size, and even keywords in the prospect's recent posts.

Pipeline always fed

Automatic search runs continuously. Your pipeline never runs dry, even when you're busy with current clients.

What are the risks?

Irrelevant profiles

Targeting too broadly generates noise. Refine your search criteria progressively to improve the quality of found profiles.

Outdated data

LinkedIn profile information isn't always current. Some prospects may have recently changed roles or companies.

Target market saturation

If your target is very niche, you'll quickly reach the limit of available profiles. Consider broadening criteria or varying approach angles.

Frequently asked questions

How does the AI find prospects outside my network?

MimikFlow uses AI to find public LinkedIn profiles not in your 2nd or 3rd degree network.

Can I import my own prospect list?

Yes. You can import prospects via CSV file or by pasting LinkedIn URLs. MimikFlow automatically enriches imported profiles.

How does automatic qualification work?

The AI analyzes each profile's role, company, industry, and location and compares them to your target persona to assign a relevance score.

How many prospects does the AI find per week?

On average, 50-100 qualified profiles per week, depending on the size of your target market and the precision of your search criteria.

Does the search run continuously?

Yes. MimikFlow launches searches automatically multiple times per day to feed your pipeline continuously without your intervention.

How does MimikFlow avoid scraping the same profile twice?

Every evaluated profile is stored with its LinkedIn provider_id and a normalized URL hash. Before adding a new lead, the scraper checks the existing leads table (scoped to your user_id) and silently skips duplicates, whether they came from Google search, engagement scraper, invite manager, or manual CSV import. You never have to deduplicate a list by hand, and you never accidentally cold-DM someone you already contacted 3 months ago.

What sources does the prospect search use besides LinkedIn itself?

Three inputs feed the `new` status: Google search via Serper (primary, finds public LinkedIn profiles outside your network), the engagement scraper (profile viewers plus likers and commenters of chosen posts, Premium only), and the invite manager (incoming invitations you have not actioned yet). You can toggle each source independently. The engagement scraper is where Premium users get their highest-intent leads, because those prospects already engaged with relevant content.
