See what the AI will write to your prospects, before it writes to them

Test the AI simulates the first message, follow-ups and AI replies on a sample prospect or a real prospect from your campaign. You adjust your settings, compare, and nothing goes out on LinkedIn.

Test the AI is MimikFlow's simulation workspace. It generates the first message, a follow-up or an AI reply with the same instructions as real prospecting, on a sample prospect or one from your campaign. No message is sent on LinkedIn, and your settings only change if you save them.

How does Test the AI work?

  1. 01

    You pick a prospect

A ready-made sample prospect to test in one click, or a real prospect from your campaign, with their profile loaded.

  2. 02

    You pick the starting point

Profile found by the AI, like or comment on a post, profile visit, first-degree connection or invitation received: the message adapts to how the relationship started.

  3. 03

    You generate and reply

Generate the first message, a follow-up or the AI's reply. Answer as a prospect to test an objection, and read the AI's decision in plain words: follow up or not, offer a slot, hand over.

  4. 04

    You save what works

Changed settings stay in the simulation. One button saves them to the campaign when you like the result.

Why test before launching a campaign?

A tone or audience setting is hard to judge in the abstract. "Direct and jargon-free" can produce a curt message, and an overly precise instruction can make every message identical. Until you see the result on a concrete prospect, you are tuning blind, and your real prospects pay the price.

Test the AI shows you the result before anything is sent. You pick a prospect, generate the message, change a setting, try again. The simulation uses the same instructions and the same writing method as real prospecting, so what you see reflects what your settings will produce.

You can also play out the conversation: reply as a prospect would, with an objection or a question, and see how the AI reacts, whether it offers a slot or would hand over to you.

What can you adjust during a test?

First message

Base style, example message, formality and instructions.

Follow-ups

Your instructions and the content of the steps, to see how the sequence evolves.

AI replies

Instructions, qualification questions and stop condition, on Pro and Agency.

Your profile and audience

Your offer, your audience and your writing style, to measure the effect of each change on the message.

The campaign tested

Each campaign is tested with its own settings. Switching campaign resets the simulation.

What keeps a test a test?

Nothing is sent

The simulation contacts nobody, even when it uses a real prospect from your campaign.

Your settings are protected

A change made during a test does not touch the campaign until you save it. Leaving the page with unsaved changes asks for confirmation.

The same safeguards as for real

A reply that would contain an invented link or contact detail is flagged: you see that real prospecting would not send it and would hand over to you.

Bounded usage

During the trial, 20 tests a day. A signed-up account without an active trial gets 5 tests to discover the tool.

Which tests should you run before launching?

Start with the first message on three or four different prospects: a profile very close to your audience, a borderline profile and one who came from a reaction to a post. If the messages look too similar, your instruction is probably too directive; if they go in every direction, your offer or audience lacks precision.

On Pro and Agency, then test two or three objections you often hear. You will see whether the AI answers the question before trying to move forward, and when it offers a slot. If a reply does not suit you, add an instruction, regenerate, then save.

Test follow-ups too: generate the second, then the fourth, to see how the sequence evolves and whether your instructions hold on later steps. On Agency, you can grant the test right to a client or a collaborator: they test with the settings of their own account, and nothing is sent.

Keep in mind that real prospecting adds a review before every send and takes the whole past conversation into account. The test shows you the direction, then the machine applies the same rules to every prospect.

Why does the starting point change the message?

A prospect who liked your post is not approached like a stranger found through search. The first message changes with the origin of the relationship: it can mention a reaction, thank someone for an invitation they sent, or go straight to the point with a first-degree connection. Testing each starting point shows you how your campaign will speak to each of your sources.

Six starting points are available. For a test even closer to reality, search for a prospect in your campaign and load them: their profile and context fill the simulation. Switching campaign clears that prospect, so a test never mixes two campaigns.

Which plan includes Test the AI?

Test the AI is available on every plan for the first message and follow-ups. Testing AI replies requires Pro or Agency, like the AI that replies itself. During the 14-day free trial, everything is open, within 20 tests a day.

What do people ask about Test the AI?

Does a test send a message to my prospect?

No. Even with a real prospect from your campaign, the simulation contacts nobody. The generated message stays on screen.

Are test messages identical to real prospecting messages?

They follow the same instructions and the same writing method, so they reflect your settings. Each real message stays unique, and prospecting adds a review before sending.

How many tests can I run?

During the free trial, 20 tests a day. A signed-up account without an active trial gets 5 tests. Paid plans have a generous daily ceiling, meant to prevent abuse rather than limit your tuning.

Can I test a specific objection?

Yes, on Pro and Agency. Reply as your prospect would and look at the AI's answer, its decision to follow up or offer a slot, and the moment it would hand over to you.

Does the test apply the follow-up repeat check?

Yes. A follow-up too close to a message already sent in the simulation is regenerated once, then clearly refused, as in real prospecting.

Are my changes saved automatically?

No. They stay in the simulation until you click save to campaign. Switching campaign or leaving the page with pending changes asks for confirmation.
