Your LinkedIn network already holds clients. MimikFlow finds them

MimikFlow walks through your first-degree connections, keeps those that fit your audience, leaves out people close to you and anyone you already talked to, then writes to them without a connection request.

Prospecting your first-degree network is a MimikFlow source reserved for paid Pro and Agency plans. It walks through your existing connections in slices, between 8 am and 8 pm, reads the profile of those that seem to fit your audience and creates a prospect only if the profile confirms it and no conversation exists yet.

How does MimikFlow walk through your network?

  1. 01

    You turn the source on

In your list of sources, turn on your network. The walk moves in slices, between 8 am and 8 pm in your timezone, never all at once.

  2. 02

    A first sort without reading

Profiles with no role, students, interns and people looking for work are set aside right away, as are those whose title matches nothing in your audience. Your exclusions, colleagues and relatives, apply at this stage.

  3. 03

The profile is read and checked

For connections that pass this sort, the full profile is read. A connection is kept only if the score is high enough and the elements justifying it are really on the profile.

  4. 04

    The history is checked

Before creating a prospect, MimikFlow checks whether a conversation already exists with that person. If so, they are not prospected automatically, and a relative or a past sales discussion is tagged do not prospect.

  5. 05

    The first message goes out

A kept connection with no past exchange goes straight into the first message queue and receives a message suited to someone already connected.

Why is your existing network underused?

Years on LinkedIn leave hundreds, sometimes thousands of connections: former colleagues, people met at conferences, invitations accepted with no follow-up. Some of them match your audience today exactly, but nobody has time to reread every profile to see who changed role or company since.

These connections have one advantage: no invitation to wait for. The first message can go out as soon as a connection is kept. And it takes that into account: it goes straight to the point, without introducing itself like a stranger who just found the profile.

The hard part is not prospecting the wrong people: your family, your friends, a current client, someone you already had a sales conversation with. That is why MimikFlow is deliberately careful with this source, and prefers to skip a connection rather than write to the wrong one.

What do you control for your network?

Companies to exclude

Your current company or former employers: their employees, often your colleagues, are not prospected.

Names to exclude

Your family or anyone you do not want contacted, by name or last name.

A new walk

When your audience or offer changes, a new full walk of your network can be started, at most once every 14 days.

The account being walked

On Agency, each LinkedIn account has its own network: the walk follows the account of the selected campaign.

Source order

Your network comes after the other sources by default. You can move it up so these connections are contacted sooner.

How does MimikFlow protect your connections?

No conversation resumed by default

Any connection with an existing exchange is left aside. If the history cannot be checked, the connection is not contacted.

Never the same person twice

A connection already in one of your campaigns, whatever its status, is never recreated by the walk.

Verified profiles

The role, company and background stored come from the LinkedIn profile itself. An AI claim that is not on the profile gets the connection rejected.

A limited reading pace

The walk has its own share of profile reads, so it does not slow your search and stays within your account's limits.

And if you do not want to prospect your network?

Not everyone wants to write to their connections. In your campaign exclusions, an option prevents contacting your first-degree connections when they arrive another way, for example through search, an import or a competitor's post. People who react to your own posts or send you an invitation remain possible prospects, since they came to you.

If you turn the source on, the reverse is true: your network becomes a regular pool, walked every day, without ever touching the conversations you already have.

What message do your connections receive?

A connection you never exchanged with receives a first message written for someone already in your network: no "I came across your profile", no stranger's introduction, straight to the point. It follows your style, formality and instructions, like every other first message.

It does not wait for the delay applied after an acceptance either, since the connection sometimes dates back years. It goes out at your campaign's pace, within your sending days and hours.

How do existing connections compare with strangers?

In the MimikFlow 2026 Observatory, connections already in the network replied at 31.7% and booked a meeting in 4.5% of cases, close to strangers found through search, who replied at 35.6% with 4.6% meetings. Their main value is less the rate than the volume available right away, with no invitation to wait for and no weekly invitation limit to use up.

Which plan includes prospecting your network?

Prospecting your first-degree network is included in paid Pro and Agency plans. It is open neither during the free trial nor on Discovery. On Agency, the network of each connected account can be walked.

What do people ask about prospecting your network?

Will MimikFlow write to my friends or family?

Not if you already exchanged with them: any connection with a past conversation is left aside. For relatives you never messaged on LinkedIn, add their names to the source's exclusions.

Do I need to send my connections an invitation?

No. They are already connected to you. MimikFlow skips the invitation step and writes to them directly, with a message that does not treat them as strangers.

How many connections are analysed per day?

The walk moves in slices between 8 am and 8 pm, with a profile read ceiling specific to this source. A large network is therefore walked over several days, smoothly.

Why is this source not in the free trial?

It is reserved for paid Pro and Agency plans. During the trial, prospect search, your profile visitors and reactions to your posts feed the campaign.

What if I change my audience?

You can restart a full walk of your network with the new audience, at most once every 14 days. Connections already in your campaigns are not recreated.

Can I see what the walk found?

Yes. The source settings show the connections analysed, those kept as prospects, those already contacted and those tagged do not prospect.

Ready to see the machine run on your audience?

The free trial lasts 14 days, needs no credit card and runs at Pro level. You see the prospects, messages and meetings before choosing a plan.
