What is Expandi and who is it for?

Expandi is a LinkedIn automation tool published by LeadExpress B.V. in the Netherlands, aimed at sales teams, lead generation agencies and recruiters. It runs in the cloud: you build a campaign in a sequence editor with conditions (if the prospect accepts, replies or engages), and Expandi chains connection requests, messages, InMails, event invitations and email follow-ups sent through any email provider you connect.

Prospects come from what you import: a LinkedIn or Sales Navigator search, people who engaged with a post, group members, event attendees, company page followers or a CSV file. The Signals action can also add people automatically when they visit your profile or company page, or react to a post you choose. On the AI side, a personalization mode writes messages from a prompt, and the AI Analyzer classifies replies and generates reply drafts. An MCP connector, in private beta, lets you drive Expandi from Claude or ChatGPT.

Safety is central to its pitch: a dedicated country-based IP for each account, a gradual warm-up and limit ranges the tool will not exceed. Billing is per seat, one seat per LinkedIn account, with a custom Agency plan that includes white labeling.

Who the tool is built for

  • Lead generation agencies managing several client accounts that want to sell under their own brand.
  • Teams that want LinkedIn and email steps in the same sequence.
  • Users who enjoy building detailed conditional scenarios.
  • Recruiters, whom Expandi explicitly targets.

How much does Expandi cost in 2026?

Expandi charges per seat, and one seat is one connected LinkedIn account. Every seat you buy is billed, whether or not it is linked to an account. The Business plan costs $99 a month, or $79 a month when you pay the year upfront, a 20% discount. Prices are shown in US dollars only, with taxes that may vary by country. For more than 10 seats or white labeling, the Agency plan is quoted on request, with a discount that grows with the number of accounts.

What do users say about Expandi?

On 30 September 2026, Expandi showed 4.4/5 on Trustpilot from 235 reviews and 4.4/5 on Capterra from 31 reviews. On Trustpilot, 75% of reviews give five stars and 18% give one. On Capterra, ease of use scores 4.1 and customer service 4.3. The G2 page could not be loaded that day.

The Trustpilot summary highlights well-liked support, especially the onboarding sessions, but notes an interface that is hard to master at first. On Capterra, reviewers praise the safety features, the campaign builder and the support team. Criticism covers the interface on small screens, gaps in the documentation, occasional bugs and billing inconsistencies.

What are Expandi's strengths?

  • A documented safety approach

A dedicated country-based IP for each account, a gradual warm-up (by default from 5 to 21 actions a day over 14 days) and limit ranges Expandi says it never exceeds. The method is spelled out in its help center.

  • LinkedIn and email in one sequence

Connection requests, messages, InMails and email follow-ups run in a single scenario, through the email provider of your choice. If you want a second written channel, this is a real advantage.

  • A deep scenario builder

Conditions, engagement actions between follow-ups, unlimited campaigns and prioritization of the campaigns that perform. You can build very precise paths based on each prospect's behavior.

  • Varied sources, visitors included

LinkedIn and Sales Navigator searches, posts, groups, events, page followers, CSV files, and the Signals action that adds your profile or page visitors and people who react to a post.

  • Built with agencies in mind

Roles and permissions, client reports, white labeling on Agency, native HubSpot, Pipedrive and Salesforce integrations, webhooks and an MCP connector in private beta.

What are Expandi's limits?

  • The price follows every account

Each LinkedIn account adds $99 a month, and an unused seat stays billed until you remove it from the subscription. Beyond 10 accounts, pricing goes through an Agency quote.

  • The AI suggests, you send

The AI Analyzer generates a reply draft when you click, up to 20 a day per account. The MCP connector also drafts replies, but it is in private beta and every send needs your approval. No meeting booking is advertised.

  • AI in English only for now

The help center says the AI features are English only for now. If you prospect in French or another language, personalization and reply drafts are less useful.

  • A short trial and no free plan

Seven days to set up, warm up your account and judge the first results is tight, especially since Expandi itself recommends starting slowly. There is no permanent free plan.

  • Rules to learn

The Signals action cannot be combined with a search, a CSV file or the API in the same campaign. Profile visitors require LinkedIn Premium or Sales Navigator and work in one active campaign at a time. The Mobile Connector campaign requires two-factor authentication.

  • Paid add-ons

Image and GIF personalization and video through Sendspark come on top of the subscription. The Agency price is not published.

When is Expandi the better choice?

  • You want email follow-ups in the same sequence as LinkedIn: MimikFlow does not run email sequences.
  • You run an agency that wants to resell prospecting under its own brand, with roles, client reports and a dedicated manager.
  • You manage more than 5 LinkedIn accounts, the maximum on MimikFlow's Agence plan.
  • You want to keep control of every reply and build very detailed conditional scenarios.
  • Your CRM is Pipedrive or Salesforce and you want a native integration.

And when does MimikFlow fit better?

  • You want the AI to answer prospects itself and book the meeting on real slots in your calendar (Calendly, Cal.com or iClosed): that is the AI Setter, from Pro at €97 per month, billed in euros.
  • You prospect in French as well as English: MimikFlow's interface is in both languages, while Expandi says its AI features are English only for now.
  • You want to start from a target described in a few lines, with dated buying signals (new job, hiring, fundraising), instead of building searches yourself.
  • You want a longer trial and a lower entry price: 14 days with no credit card, then €49 per month on Découverte.

What is our verdict on Expandi?

Expandi is a serious tool for building precise LinkedIn and email sequences. Its safety method is documented, its scenario builder goes deep and its Agency offer covers what agencies need: white labeling, roles and client reports. Public ratings are good, and its support gets frequent praise.

The limits are clear too. The price follows every LinkedIn account, the trial lasts only 7 days, and the AI remains an assistant: it drafts replies on click, in English for now, and no meeting booking is advertised. As soon as a prospect replies, the conversation is back with you or your team.

If you want one tool that finds prospects from your target, writes, follows up, replies and books the meeting in your calendar, MimikFlow covers that path from €49 per month (Découverte) to €97 with the AI Setter (Pro), billed in euros. If email inside the sequence or white labeling is decisive, Expandi is the better pick of the two.

What do people ask about Expandi?

On 30 September 2026, the Business plan costs $99 a month per LinkedIn account, or $79 a month when you pay the year upfront. Taxes may be added depending on your country. The Agency plan, for more than 10 seats or white labeling, is quoted on request.

Does Expandi have a free trial?

Yes, a 7-day trial with access to every feature. Expandi says it only charges once you finish your evaluation and decide to continue. There is no permanent free plan.

Expandi or MimikFlow: which should I choose?

Expandi if you want LinkedIn and email in the same scenario, white labeling for your agency or more than 5 LinkedIn accounts. MimikFlow if you want prospecting to go all the way to the meeting: prospect search from your target, an AI-written first message, follow-ups and, from Pro at €97 per month, an AI that answers prospects and books real slots in your calendar.

Is Expandi priced per user or per LinkedIn account?

Per seat, and one seat is linked to one LinkedIn account at a time. Every seat you buy is billed, even when no account is connected to it. You can add or remove seats from your account, and the discount grows with the number of seats.

Is Expandi safe for my LinkedIn account?

No automation tool removes the risk of a LinkedIn restriction, and Expandi's own footer says use of the tool is at your own risk. It highlights a dedicated country-based IP for each account, a gradual warm-up (from 5 to 21 actions a day by default) and limit ranges the tool will not exceed. It also offers a Mobile Connector campaign that adds 50 to 100 connection requests a week. MimikFlow caps invitations at 40 a day, lets you choose your sending hours and applies a weekly ceiling tied to your LinkedIn plan.

Does Expandi have AI features?

Yes. The AI Hyper-personalization mode writes connection requests, follow-ups and InMails from a prompt of up to 275 characters. The AI Analyzer rates replies as Interested, Maybe or Not Interested and generates reply drafts on click, 20 a day per account. The help center says these features are English only for now.

Do I need Sales Navigator to use Expandi?

No. Expandi calls it optional, while recommending it to widen your limit ranges. Pulling in the visitors of your profile or company page does require LinkedIn Premium or Sales Navigator.

Does Expandi offer a white label for agencies?

Yes, through the custom Agency plan: Expandi under your own brand, roles and permissions, centralized campaign management, client reports and a dedicated manager. It is presented for 10 seats and more.
