lemlist is a multichannel outbound tool built around email: a 650M+ lead database, sequences, warm-up and built-in AI. The Email plan costs $55 a month billed yearly, but LinkedIn steps require Multichannel at $87 per user per month billed yearly. It is strong for high-volume email; it does not advertise an AI that answers prospects on its own or books meetings.

What is lemlist and who is it for?

lemlist is an outbound platform from lempire. It bundles lead sourcing (a database the vendor puts at 650M+ contacts, with email and phone finding), multichannel sequences, email deliverability (lemwarm warm-up, inbox rotation, alerts) and an AI layer. The newest piece is lemAgent, an agent you chat with about your goal and audience, which then builds the campaign.

Day to day it works like a sequencing tool. You find or import leads, chain steps (email, LinkedIn visit, invite, text or voice message, call, SMS, optional WhatsApp) with conditions, and lemlist runs them within your sending limits. lemAgent writes the messages, and the vendor sums up the workflow as "You review it, you send it". Replies land in a unified inbox where AI flags intent and can generate a reply.

It targets sales reps, founders, RevOps teams and agencies. One thing to know if LinkedIn is your main channel: the cheapest plan, Email, has no LinkedIn steps at all. You need Multichannel, which is priced per user, and each seat connects a single LinkedIn account.

Who the tool is built for

  • Teams sending a lot of cold email who want deliverability tooling included in the subscription.
  • Reps who mix email, LinkedIn, calls and SMS in the same sequence.
  • Teams that want a large lead database plus email and phone enrichment in one place.
  • Email-focused teams that want unlimited users instead of per-seat pricing.

How much does lemlist cost in 2026?

lemlist shows its prices in US dollars on both its English and French pricing pages, and lists local currency billing ($, € or £). There are three billing cycles: monthly, quarterly (save 10%) and yearly (save 20%). The Email plan is a flat price that depends on your monthly email volume, with unlimited users. Multichannel is priced per user. Enterprise is custom, with a 5-seat minimum. Data features (emails, phone numbers, buying signals) run on credits that are only charged when a lookup succeeds.

What do users say about lemlist?

On 30 September 2026, lemlist scored 4.7/5 on Trustpilot from 244 reviews (81% five stars, 12% one star) and 4.6/5 on Capterra from 387 reviews, with 4.5 for ease of use and 4.6 for customer service. We could not open the G2 page that day, so the 4.6/5 from 2,240+ G2 reviews shown on lemlist's pricing page remains a vendor figure.

Positive reviews mostly praise fast support, quick onboarding and the personalization and deliverability tools. Recurring complaints cover per-seat cost as a team grows, unclear boundaries between the multichannel plan and its paid add-ons, limited reporting and support answers that are sometimes vague.

What are lemlist's strengths?

  • Deliverability is included

lemwarm warm-up, inbox rotation, deliverability tests, alerts and a monitoring hub come with every plan. For a team sending thousands of emails a month, that replaces several separate tools.

  • Leads and enrichment in one place

The database is advertised at 650M+ leads, with waterfall email and phone finding across several data providers. Credits are only charged when a lookup succeeds.

  • Real multichannel sequences

Email, LinkedIn, calls, SMS and optional WhatsApp fit in one sequence with conditions. For example: if the email is not opened, send a LinkedIn invite instead.

  • Unlimited users on the Email plan

The Email plan is not priced per seat: the whole team can work in it for a price that depends only on email volume.

  • AI and an open platform

lemAgent builds a campaign from a goal, AI sorts replies, and the MCP lets you run lemlist from an AI assistant. HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zapier, Make, n8n and Clay connect on every plan.

What are lemlist's limits?

  • No LinkedIn on the entry plan

lemlist's own FAQ says you need Multichannel or Enterprise to use LinkedIn steps. For a LinkedIn prospector, the real starting price is $87 per user per month billed yearly, or $109 monthly.

  • One LinkedIn account per seat, tied to the browser

The help center says each lemlist account connects to a single LinkedIn account and that LinkedIn actions depend on the browser session (cookies plus the Chrome extension). Three LinkedIn profiles mean three seats, each in its own Chrome profile.

  • Add-ons stack up

Enrichment credits, buying signals, WhatsApp, senders beyond 5 and calling numbers are all billed on top of the plan.

  • AI drafts, you approve and reply

lemAgent writes the sequences, but the vendor states "Nothing launches without your approval". AI can generate replies, yet none of the pages we read describe an AI that carries the conversation to a meeting by itself.

  • No calendar booking advertised

lemlist tracks a booking rate and can react when a lead has booked, but it does not advertise an AI that offers slots and books them in your calendar. Its scheduling tool, lemcal, is a separate product.

When is lemlist the better choice?

  • Cold email is your main channel and you send high volumes: lemlist includes warm-up, rotation and deliverability monitoring, while MimikFlow does not run email sequences.
  • Your whole team needs access without per-seat pricing: the Email plan includes unlimited users.
  • You want calls, SMS and email mixed with LinkedIn in one sequence.
  • You need a lead database with verified emails and phone numbers, synced natively with HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive.

And when does MimikFlow fit better?

  • You prospect mainly on LinkedIn and prefer a price per month over a price per user: Découverte costs €49 per month and Pro €97 (billed in euros).
  • You want an AI that answers prospects and books real slots in your calendar (Calendly, Cal.com or iClosed): that is the AI Setter, from Pro.
  • You want follow-through around the meeting: a reminder before it, recovery after a no-show or a cancellation, and a return at the date the prospect asked for.
  • You do not want to depend on a Chrome extension: your LinkedIn account connects through a secure page and the machine runs without your browser open.

What is our verdict on lemlist?

lemlist is one of the most complete outbound tools when email sits at the center. For a team sending a lot of email that wants to add LinkedIn and the phone, it is a coherent choice, and its public ratings describe a product people like, especially for its support.

For LinkedIn work, the headline price does not tell the whole story: LinkedIn starts at $87 per user per month billed yearly, every LinkedIn account needs a seat, and add-ons stack up. More importantly, lemlist remains a sequencing tool: AI drafts and suggests, while the conversation and the booking stay with you.

If you want LinkedIn meetings without living in your inbox, MimikFlow covers that part: it finds prospects from your target, writes the first message, follows up, then from Pro answers prospects and books real slots. If email drives your pipeline, stay with lemlist.

What do people ask about lemlist?

How much does lemlist cost in 2026?

The Email plan costs $69 a month billed monthly, $62 quarterly or $55 yearly for 50,000 emails a month, with unlimited users. Multichannel, which adds LinkedIn, costs $109 per user per month billed monthly, $99 quarterly or $87 yearly. Enterprise is custom, from 5 seats. Prices shown in US dollars, checked on 30 September 2026.

Does lemlist have a free trial?

Yes: 14 days with no credit card, with the Multichannel features (except in-app calls) and 200 free credits to find emails and phone numbers or try buying signals. The pricing page does not list a permanent free plan.

lemlist or MimikFlow: which one should I choose?

Pick lemlist if cold email is your main channel: deliverability, volume and multichannel sequences are its strengths. Pick MimikFlow if you prospect mainly on LinkedIn and want the conversation to keep going without you: prospect search, first message and follow-ups from Découverte at €49 per month, then the AI Setter that replies and books real slots from Pro at €97 per month.

Is LinkedIn included in every lemlist plan?

No. lemlist's FAQ says LinkedIn steps require Multichannel or Enterprise. The Email plan has none. The 14-day trial does include LinkedIn actions.

How much does lemlist cost for 3 people on LinkedIn?

On Multichannel, 3 users cost $261 a month billed yearly (3 times $87), or $327 a month billed monthly. Since each seat connects one LinkedIn account, that is also the price of running three LinkedIn profiles, before add-ons.

Do I need Sales Navigator to use lemlist?

No. lemlist says its LinkedIn automation works with a regular, free LinkedIn account. Sales Navigator only adds more advanced search filters.

Does lemlist have an AI that replies to prospects?

lemAgent builds campaigns and AI can generate a reply, but the vendor states that nothing launches without your approval. Its pages do not advertise an AI that answers prospects on its own or books meetings.

Is automating LinkedIn with lemlist risky for my account?

No automation tool removes the risk of a LinkedIn restriction. lemlist says it uses human-like delays, daily limits and a gradual ramp-up, and its help center recommends up to 20 invites a day. MimikFlow sends at most 40 invitations a day, within the sending hours you choose, under a weekly ceiling tied to your LinkedIn plan.
