Dux-Soup is a LinkedIn automation tool now sold as STACKED, a desktop app. It costs $55 per seat per month on Local and $99 on Cloud ($41.25 and $74.17 billed annually), with a 14-day free trial. What is Dux-Soup and who is it for?

Dux-Soup has been around since 2015 and is one of the best-known names in LinkedIn automation. In 2026 the company retired its Pro, Turbo and Cloud Chrome extensions and launched STACKED, powered by Dux-Soup: a desktop application for Windows and Mac. Existing customers get access with their current license, and the help center still documents an extension as an alternative setup.

The workflow is familiar. You build a campaign of up to 12 actions (visit, follow, like a post, connect, message, InMail, endorse), enroll prospects from a LinkedIn, Sales Navigator or Recruiter search, a CSV file or a pasted list of profile URLs, and STACKED runs the steps with the delays you set. The sequence stops as soon as someone replies. For AI, you connect your own ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini account: it rewrites each message from the prospect's profile, then reads replies to continue the campaign, qualify the lead or qualify them out.

There are two versions. STACKED Local runs on your computer, which must stay on and awake while automation is scheduled. STACKED Cloud runs the same campaigns on Dux-Soup's servers around the clock, with one admin dashboard for multiple accounts, aimed at teams and agencies.

Who the tool is built for

  • You already build lists in Sales Navigator or Recruiter and want the follow-up steps automated.
  • You want to pick your own AI model (ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini) and handle the closing yourself.
  • You need native CRM integrations (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive) plus an API from the entry plan.
  • You run client accounts and want an agency dashboard with seats billed by usage.
  • You recruit through LinkedIn Recruiter, which STACKED supports.

How much does Dux-Soup cost in 2026?

Dux-Soup charges per seat, meaning per automated LinkedIn account, billed monthly or yearly (the yearly toggle says save 25%). The pricing page picks the currency from the visitor's country: the default view shows $55.00 (Local) and $99.00 (Cloud) per seat per month, while visitors in the euro zone see €49.00 and €88.00. This review quotes the dollar prices. Campaigns do not burn credits, but the AI runs on your own account with its provider and finding emails outside your network uses separately purchased credits.

STACKED Cloud · $99.00 per month per seat

Included

  • Everything in Local
  • Automation runs on Dux-Soup's managed servers, no machine left on

Limits

  • Flexible (post-paid) seats: minimum of 5 seats on Cloud

  • 14-day free trial when you download the app, with no credit card according to Dux-Soup's own getting-started guide.
  • Volume discount shown on the pricing page: 10% off per 10 seats, up to 50%. The help center ties volume pricing to yearly fixed-seat plans.
  • AI is not included in the seat price: you connect your own account. For Claude, Dux-Soup notes that the API key needs a payment method with Anthropic and is billed per token. Gemini has a free tier.
  • Email lookups for 2nd and 3rd-degree prospects use credits bought in the STACKED Store. Their price is not shown on the pages we read.
  • Refunds are available within 31 days of the initial purchase, with no partial refunds. You cancel by emailing support: uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
  • If you still see a $14.99 Pro price, it belongs to the old Chrome extension, which Dux-Soup says it has retired. The Capterra listing still showed it on September 30, 2026.

What do users say about Dux-Soup?

On September 30, 2026, Dux-Soup showed 4.6/5 on Trustpilot from 43 reviews and 4.0/5 on Capterra from 16 reviews. The G2 page could not be read. Keep the timing in mind: the latest reviews date from May 2026 on Trustpilot and January 2025 on Capterra, so they describe the old extension, not STACKED, which launched in September 2026.

On Trustpilot, support comes up again and again as a strength. The most detailed negative review describes wrong data pushed into Pipedrive by the integration. On Capterra, users value the time saved and the easy setup, while complaints mostly targeted the resource-heavy browser version and some bugs. Value for money is the lowest Capterra sub-score, at 3.8/5.

What are Dux-Soup's strengths?

  • A real choice between Local and Cloud

Run campaigns on your own computer for $55 per seat, or on Dux-Soup's servers for $99 so they keep going with your laptop closed. Both use the same app and features.

  • Bring your own AI

STACKED plugs into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. The AI rewrites your template from each prospect's profile, with a preview before sending, then reads replies to continue, qualify or disqualify. An MCP server also lets you run campaigns from an AI assistant.

  • Deep integrations on the entry plan

HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Freshsales, HighLevel, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zapier and Make, plus an open API with webhooks. A real plus for teams that live in their CRM.

  • Documented safety defaults

Daily limits set by LinkedIn account type, an automatic pause at LinkedIn's weekly invitation cap, a working-hours planner and randomized pacing. The default values are published in the help center.

  • Sales Navigator and Recruiter support

Campaigns and the inbox cover LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and Recruiter, and replies from all three inboxes are checked every 20 minutes. Useful for recruiters as much as for sales teams.

What are Dux-Soup's limits?

  • No prospect search

STACKED runs sequences on the lists you feed it. Finding the right people is still your job, and a Sales Navigator subscription quickly becomes part of the real cost.

  • No meeting booking advertised

The AI sorts replies, but Dux-Soup does not advertise AI conversations that run to a booked meeting or any calendar booking. Its own reply workflow ends with a manual conversion step.

  • AI is billed separately

You connect your own AI account. Claude is billed per token by Anthropic, and only Gemini offers a free tier. That cost comes on top of the seat.

  • Local depends on your computer

On Local, automation stops when your computer shuts down or sleeps. Running around the clock means Cloud, at $99 instead of $55 per seat.

  • LinkedIn only

Dux-Soup says so itself: the product only works with LinkedIn and adds no email or other channel. Finding an email outside your network costs credits.

When is Dux-Soup the better choice?

  • You already pay for Sales Navigator or Recruiter and have lists ready: you only pay for running the sequences.
  • Your team lives in HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive and wants a native integration and an API without moving up a tier.
  • You want to keep your own AI model, for example Gemini's free tier, and decide yourself what happens after each reply.
  • You manage many client accounts: usage-billed flexible seats and the Cloud agency dashboard are built for that.
  • You recruit with LinkedIn Recruiter and want those campaigns automated too.

And when does MimikFlow fit better?

  • You have no prospect list: MimikFlow finds up to 100 qualified prospects per week from a target described in a few lines on Découverte, with unlimited prospects on Pro.
  • You want the AI to carry the conversation to a meeting: the AI Setter answers prospects and books real slots in Calendly, Cal.com or iClosed, from €97 per month.
  • Missed meetings hurt you: a reminder before the call, recovery after a no-show or cancellation, and a follow-up on the date the prospect asked for.
  • You want to prioritize prospects who are moving: profile visitors, post reactions and dated signals (new job, hiring, fundraising) feed the prospecting.

What is our verdict on Dux-Soup?

Dux-Soup is still a serious tool. STACKED adds what the extension lacked: a dedicated app, a real cloud option and AI through ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini that personalizes messages and sorts replies. At $55 per seat on Local, it is fairly priced for anyone who already has lists and wants full CRM integrations.

Just be clear on what you are buying: a sequence engine. Finding prospects, carrying the conversation to a meeting and booking it stay on your side, and the AI adds a bill with its provider. Because STACKED only launched in September 2026, public reviews say nothing about the new app yet.

If your need stops at sending sequences to your own lists, Dux-Soup does the job. If you want one product that finds prospects, answers them and books meetings in your calendar, MimikFlow covers that path in one subscription, from €49 per month and €97 with the AI Setter (billed in euros).

No automation tool removes the risk of a LinkedIn restriction. Dux-Soup documents its safeguards: daily limits set by account type, 20 connection requests per day by default, an automatic pause at LinkedIn's weekly invitation cap, a working-hours planner and randomized pacing. MimikFlow, for its part, sends at most 40 invitations per day, within sending hours you choose and a weekly ceiling tied to your LinkedIn plan.

How do I cancel Dux-Soup and get a refund?

Email support at info@dux-soup.com: uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. A refund is possible if you request it within 31 days of the initial purchase, with no partial refunds.
